Jamie Foxx & BetMGM Commercials are Back after Hospitalization

The multi-talented Jamie Foxx, famous for his accomplishments in comedy, film, music, and now the sportsbook world, has made a grand return as BetMGM’s celebrity brand ambassador after hospitalization.

The actor, singer, and comedian is again back on our screens in a series of commercials for BetMGM, showcasing his incredible talent and strength in overcoming a medical emergency.

Foxx, known for his Oscar-winning role in the 2004 biographical film ‘Ray’ that narrates the life of legendary rhythm and blues musician Ray Charles, has been actively collaborating with BetMGM since September 2020.

However, the 55-year-old has an impressive list of achievements, including a Golden Globe, a British Academy of Film and Television Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Grammy Award.

Resilience and Recovery

Jamie Foxx’s return to work is incredibly inspiring, given the challenges he faced earlier this year.

In April 2023, while filming the Netflix movie ‘Back in Action,’ Foxx experienced a medical emergency that required him to be rushed to the hospital.

After almost four months of recovery and rehab, Foxx returned to the spotlight, looking in fantastic shape and showing no signs of physical ailment.

He filmed a new BetMGM commercial at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, looking focused and excited while sitting in the cockpit of a golden F1 race car.

Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, expressed her pride in her father, sharing behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot.

Hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, who also appears in the ad, described the shoot as “one of the best nights of my life with the greatest person.”

In the latest ad for BetMGM, Foxx channels his ‘Ray’ roots, playing the piano in a sleek black suit at the NoMad Library inside the Park MGM Las Vegas.

The commercial, filmed in late July before the 2023 NFL season kickoff, begins with Foxx declaring, “Oh, it’s about to be a party in here,” before showcasing the athletic activity erupting around him.

BetMGM’s Chief Revenue Officer, Matt Prevost, praised Foxx’s talent and the impact it has on the viewer, stating that “Jamie’s talent jumps through the television, and you can’t help but be enthralled when he is on screen breaking through the clutter on a football weekend.”
