General Manager Chett Harrison is enthusiastic about the upcoming transformation, stating, “We are in the process of building that now.” With an investment of around $1 million, the new area is set to open its doors in early January, just in time for the playoff games and the highly anticipated Super Bowl. Harrison promises, “It’s going to be a grand place to watch a game.”

Significantly, the main attraction of the DraftKings Sportsbook is a super fancy LED screen. It is definitely one of the biggest seamless ones on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. There are about 40 comfy chairs, making it a cozy spot to watch the most thrilling parts of the game. And if you’re into betting, they’ve got you covered with 17 live kiosks and five betting windows to make the whole betting experience super smooth.

Accordingly, the grand opening of the DraftKings Retail Sportsbook at Golden Nugget Biloxi is in January 2024. This comes on the heels of a $100 million renovation that has refreshed the casino resort.

Michael Kibort, DraftKings Sr. Director of Retail Sportsbook Operations, shared, “We look forward to opening the doors to the newest addition to the property with a state-of-the-art retail sportsbook.”

Importantly, during the construction phase, the current sportsbook and kiosks will remain open to all guests. This strategic move allows Golden Nugget Biloxi to seamlessly transition into the new and improved DraftKings Sportsbook space.
