Let’s be honest. We all love the thrill of placing a bet or the excitement of predicting the next big win. However, with this thrill comes great responsibility.

This September celebrates Responsible Gaming Education Month, not to be confused with March’s Problem Gambling Awareness Month. These two different months have two important causes, yet both underscore the significance of playing responsibly.

FanDuel is leading the charge this month, highlighting its unwavering commitment to promoting responsible gaming. And that’s exactly what FanDuel’s latest TV commercial focuses on.

Part of their “Play Well” initiative, this campaign reminds gamblers that the actual winning system is the one that makes sports betting fun and under control. Look out for the TV spot, highlighting tools like deposit, wager, and time limits to ensure everyone plays responsibly.

FanDuel’s Robust Campaign for Awareness

fanduel sportsbook promosLast year, in March 2022, we saw FanDuel step up its game by introducing “The System,” a multi-media campaign focusing on responsible gaming.

Teaming up with Craig Carton, a sports media personality and FanDuel’s Responsible Gaming Ambassador, last year’s campaign aimed to offer firsthand experiences on managing play.

From revealing personal gambling stories to shaping FanDuel’s initiatives, Carton brought an unparalleled depth to the conversation. In 2022, FanDuel also partnered with Amanda Serrano to promote responsible play.

Now, in 2023, we will see Carli Lloyd, the soccer icon, and the rising PGA star, Tom Kim, team up with FanDuel to spread the word on responsible play.

Joining the ranks of Craig Carton, Amanda Serrano, NFL legend Rob Gronkowski, and Kay Adams, these ambassadors are the heart of FanDuel’s responsible gaming message.

Their new jobs at FanDuel will involve the following:

  • Advocate for FanDuel’s Play Well tools.
  • Feature in bespoke advertising promoting responsible play.
  • Engage in candid talks about the associated risks of gambling.
  • A unique Responsible Gaming Training Module for FanDuel employees.
  • Helpful tutorials for FanDuel customers.
  • Engaging social media videos emphasizing FanDuel’s Responsible Gaming tools.

FanDuel Educational Initiatives

FanDuel is more than just a platform; it’s an educational hub. With their collaboration with Front Office Sports, they’ll soon launch a unique responsible gaming educational course.

Want to be part of it? The course is all set to debut in early 2024.

Moreover, if you’re a FanDuel employee, circle September 26, 2o23, on your calendar. It’s the “Play Well Day,” a day filled with seminars, discussions, and an in-depth look into the world of responsible gaming.

Dive deeper, and you’ll find that FanDuel is more than what meets the eye. A trailblazer in the sports-tech entertainment realm, FanDuel Group is changing how we see and engage with our favorite sports.

They’ve carved a niche for themselves with a diverse portfolio ranging from sports betting to iGaming and horse racing. FanDuel’s presence is felt across the US and beyond, with their innovative and responsible approach to sports and gaming.

Responsible gaming is more than just a catchphrase; it’s a commitment. A commitment to ensuring that the thrill of betting doesn’t overshadow the importance of playing responsibly.

This Responsible Gaming Education Month, let’s tip our hats to organizations like FanDuel, whose mission is to educate, advocate, and ensure a safe betting environment for all. Visit their RG webpage if you want to learn more about setting limits at FanDuel.
